I am a person centred counsellor and have been working within this approach for 8 years. I am always committed to ensuring that my clients feel accepted, feel heard and safe enough to explore the reasons why they have sought out counselling. Over the years I have worked within women's aid, primary and secondary schools, community centres and children's home offering mainly individual counselling, but also counselling for couples and families. I am privileged to have been able to be a part of the emotional development and improvement of mental health of many people over time. Some of the issues people bring to therapy are low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship break down, trauma, abuse, addiction and personal development, this is not an exhaustive list as there are so many personal and unique reasons why you may be seeking help through counselling. I thoroughly enjoy the work that I do and I always ensure that I am up to date with training and ethical practice.
