My education and experience help me use various processes and collaborate with each person or couple to create their own unique treatment plan with the aim to cover, as much as possible, their own unique needs. Through these processes (e.g. through Socratic dialogue/questioning, Empathic Responses, and other Systemic and Cognitive-Behavioral techniques), I invite people to develop more self-awareness, to renegotiate key issues of their existence and to approach past traumatic experiences in a more constructive manner. Additionally, I support individuals to explore dysfunctional ways of thinking and dysfunctional repetitive patterns of behavior which make their life difficult in an effort to understand them better and then to discover or develop the ways or tools they need to be able to transform their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
