Based In :
I have been qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist since 2009. I do face to face, online video or messaging and telephone therapy using an integrative approach to work with people on a wide variety of issues including OCD, phobias, general anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and weight issues. This means that although I use CBT mainly, I also integrate various other methods such as compassion focused or mindfulness based cognitive therapy depending on the individual as we are all different and respond to different ways of working. I believe people seek therapy because they want to make a change in their lives. This can be scary, but having felt overwhelmed and anxious at times myself, I hope to be able to offer a supportive, calm, safe environment for you to explore your issues and work towards the best solution for you. I am a Practitioner Member of COSCA, the professional body for counsellors in Scotland and abide by their code of ethics.
