I have been working as a cognitive behavioural therapist delivering CBT for 4 years. I also work as a behavioural couples therapist treating couples where one or both suffers with depression. As well as running a private clinic and delivering Skype-based CBT, I work part-time for an NHS Improving Access to Psychological Services (IAPT) where I see patients with a variety of psychological difficulties. Furthermore, I also use Compassion Focused Therapy techniques (CFT) which have been shown to be helpful for people with problematic levels of shame and self-criticism.
