We all encounter difficulties in life and counselling can help us through these challenging times. I offer short & long-term therapy, providing a safe, non-judgemental space for people who want support at a time of distress or to address a specific issue. I believe the individual is the only true expert on his or herself and that we all have the inner resources and answers within us to lead happy and fulfilling lives. However, at times it can be hard to hear this inner wisdom and guidance through the noise of modern life, anxiety and at times deep emotional pain. I have particular experience in working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts and trauma. I draw on my integrative training in person-centred therapy, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and utilise CBT skills depending on what seems to be more useful in a journey that is co-created between us. Alongside counselling I have a background in family and parenting support.
